I painted Artemis Entreri from Dungeons and Dragons Legend of Drizzt. I used a lot of dry brushing to highlight the leather. I also painted a gradient from black to grey on the cloak to add highlights.
I painted Regis, the Halfling Rogue, from Dungeons and Dragons Legend of Drizzt. Regis was pretty difficult to paint since he is actually even smaller than a Goblin (which is already half the size of a normal monster/hero miniature). I chose to add a lot more color to Regis to give him more of a noble/wealthy appearance. I was really happy with how he turned out.
I painted Wulfgar, the Human Barbarian, from Dungeons and Dragons Legend of Drizzt. In the books, he is supposed to be a blonde-haired, blue-eyed barbarian. But, I thought I would mix things up. I think he looks pretty awesome with the dark skin tone and hair. I used a lot of dry-brushing on his fur clothing. I also went for a weathered rock look for his hammer. Julie painted Drizzt Do'Urden and his black panther, Guenhwyvar from Dungeons and Dragons Legend of Drizzt . Julie painted the Dungeons and Dragons Legend of Drizzt Athrogate Dwarf Battlerager. She used a copper metallic acrylic paint for the spikes on his helmet, chest plate, shoulder armor, and boots. The used silver metallic acrylic paint for both the metal armor and the studs on the leather armor. |
