To prepare our Dungeons and Dragons miniatures for priming, we first washed them with warm water and liquid dish soap. After that, we let them completely dry before priming. We primed our miniatures in a well-ventilated outdoor area and wore protective eyewear. It's good to wait at least 30 seconds to a minute between each coat of primer to avoid the accelerant eating away at the plastic. It's important to prime your miniatures when the temperature is in the recommended range for your primer (listed on the label). To be safe, we allowed the primer to dry for 24 hours before painting the miniatures.
